Support graduate students as they gain their clinical skills at a local elementary school.
As the Show Host for the Pediatric Speech Sister Network, I lead the production of the Pediatric Speech Sister Show podcast and Pediatric Speech Sister Saturdays LIVE. In these platforms, I collaborate with industry experts to explore and gain insights on ways we can create a culturally responsive field in speech-language pathology.
Pilots small private practice to service multilingual students and families in the Houston and Tulsa Metro areas. Partners with community leaders, researchers, and K-12 institutions to provide equitable speech and language interventions.
Helps aspiring speech-language pathologists (SLPs) prepare for the Praxis® exam by creating personalized study plans based on each student’s needs and strengths; reviewing key concepts and theories covered in the Praxis® exam; and providing proven spiritual and mental health techniques to ease test-taking anxiety and boost confidence.
Leverages online presence to cultivate a world-wide community of speech-language pathologists who are dedicated to grow in their cultural competency journeys. Collaborates with industry leaders to further increase advocacy and cultural awareness in clinical practice.
